As we reported last week, Call of Duty: The War Zone is an independent battle royale coming out next month. Some people think that free games may be released on March 10, but it seems to be earlier than that.
The Royal Battle Royale mode was originally teased in the official trailer for Season 2, which mentions the use of natural gas and provides a glimpse of the new map – the Royal Battle Royale map for Modern War was later leaked and is Black's "Blackout" map doubles the action4.
Users have also dug up additional information about the game. According to a data mine published by leaker Senescallo on reddit, the sizable royal battle map contains 15 regions and 6 points of interest. As they search the map for equipment, Warzone will have 200 players fight each other.
This model is rumored to be under development by Raven Software, which has processed each Call of Duty title in recent years.
As we wait for more details, check out everything we know about Call of Duty Theater so far.
