Marvel Rivals announces more details about one of its playable characters. A particularly popular anti-hero.
Marvel Rivals is one of the big titles of the famous license that is coming soon. A surprise game that no one expected and that was difficult to imagine. The software, developed by the giant studio NetEase, presents itself as TPS, a third-person shooter in the style of Overwatch. Two superhero teams compete against each other in fierce battles on objective maps. A competitive game, in the style of what is already available almost everywhere, but with one big advantage: Marvel.
The new, extremely promising Marvel game
Unless you live in the depths of Greenland (and we have nothing against its residents), it’s impossible not to know Marvel and its countless superheroes. The latter have been part of our culture for years and have used the flood of blockbusters in the cinema to increase their popularity. So Marvel Rivals has a real goldmine to fully exploit its concept and attract millions of fans around the world. Being free to play automatically ensures great accessibility, especially since it will be available on consoles, PCs and even mobile devices, in short, everywhere.
As a bonus, he chooses an image that appeals to everyone and can rely on his superhero gallery to do the rest. Several have already been announced, and with the first phases of alpha testing approaching for the month of May, the studio felt it was time to unveil them one by one.
Marvel Rivals introduces one of its playable heroes
We open the ball with one of the license’s most popular supervillains, who was largely democratized with the first Avengers in the cinema and then his own series. We are of course talking about Loki, the god of mischief and the little brother of Thor, the god of thunder. Armed with his scepter and his green outfit with a golden helmet, Loki presents himself as a skilled fighting hero who uses magic to cause damage but also deceives his opponents. In particular, he is seen making clones of himself appear, perfect for deceiving opponents in the middle of battle. He may also disappear to escape a bad situation, leaving an image of himself in his original location, only to sow further trouble.
A gameplay that looks rather insidious and, in short, suits the hero perfectly.
Marvel Rivals is expected to be available soon on PC, consoles and mobile devices, but there is no release date yet. However, it can enter an alpha test phase on May 10th. You can also log in this address.
