The fact that Michael Caine is not only considered one of the greatest actors of all time by us is due to his impressive filmography. A look into the database of IMDB reveals the impressive figures of the 91-year-old’s career, which began in 1950.
He has in over 177 films was nominated for an Oscar six times and won two of them. He even has his own Wikipedia, the free encyclopediadedicated solely to his awards over the decades.

And British film producer Peter Oxley counters smoothly with a picture his own Michael Caine collection. So you can see: there is huge interest in the actor’s filmography.
The actor’s life’s work is not in any museum, but on his living room shelf at home. Amusing detail on the side: Some of the DVDs are even still shrink-wrapped. Apparently Michael Caine is more concerned with owning his films than actually watching them all.
It is questionable whether many more films will be added, but not ruled out. Michael Caine had actually announced his retirement from acting several times before he appeared in films again. His last retirement announcement is from October 2023. It is quite possible that he will retire for good this time. He would have enough films to watch at home.
