A feature Microsoft is copying?
As you dig through the maze of video game files, you can sometimes get your hands on details that are as interesting as they are intriguing! Thanks to a handful of curious people, we were able to unearth clues to potential PlayStation Network integration within the various titles that have arrived or will arrive on the support personal computer. In fact, some items like “PSNAccountLinked” and “PSNLinkingEntitlements” have been highlighted by the gaming community.. As a result, Sony appears to be able to offer a link like Microsoft is currently offering between Xbox Live and some of its games on Steam as there are currently no titles available personal computer
From this realization it follows that Sony could therefore allow players personal computer to link their PSN account to the different titles, and there is a small additional fee that may encourage players to make this link. As suggested by two other items, namely “LevelCapExtras” and “PSN Linking Bonus”, linking between accounts could lead to unlocking rewards and Insomniac Games would have experimented with this when developing the port.. All that remains now is to know if this idea is still in the pipeline or if it has been shelved by Sony: maybe we will know more about it in the more or less near future.
