Showcases are being announced to a large extent these days, because after the new State of Play and Pokémon Presents, Level 5 is now upping the ante. In this transmission you can expect information about the recently confirmed Professor Layton and the New World of Steam.
The Japanese development studio Level-5 has made a name for itself in the industry, which is mainly due to the successes of Ni no Kuni and Professor Layton. What’s next for the creators? This should be explained in more detail in a live stream that will be equipped with “information on upcoming Level 5 games”.
This showcase called “Level-5 Vision 2023” has now been announced for March 9th, 2023. It starts at 3:00 p.m. German time, and you can be there via stream. It should then be possible to see several upcoming titles from the developer studio, which will play a role over the course of the year.
So what exactly is there to see? Above all, fans of the successful franchise can look forward to solid information about Professor Layton and the New World of Steam, who was recently confirmed at Nintendo during the Direct conference. The immensely successful series was represented by a trailer at Nintendo with the new game, but there was really no more information at first – but probably only until March 9th.
In addition, DEADPOLICE will certainly also play a role. This is a new IP from Level-5, which was also briefly hinted at in Nintendo’s Direct presentation in early February. Despite this, this new brand, centered around police recruits in a virtual reality simulation called Decasim, will also come to PlayStation. In terms of gameplay, the new title is probably based on a mixture of collecting evidence, investigative work and tactical, turn-based combat.
In addition to these two titles, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road of Heroes, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Team and the upcoming Megaton Musashi game are also expected to play a role. Nothing is known about the duration of the transfer.
