Krafton missed PUBG: Battlegrounds’ next update! The new version 28.1 introduces two features in particular: co-op climbing and an electric vehicle on the new map Rondo.
Anyone who continues to play the long-running battle royale PUBG: Battlegrounds can now secure the new update 28.1, which has now been published by Krafton. There is once again an expansion for the latest map Rondo, as a new electric vehicle finds its way into the game. There are also other gameplay improvements such as co-op climbing.
But first to Rondo: There you can now drive the first electric vehicle in PUBG: Battlegrounds with the Pico bus. In contrast to conventional vehicles, the bus is powered by batteries and must be charged at a charg ing station, which you can also find on the map.
Among the gameplay innovations is, above all, co-op climbing, which allows you to work together and overcome obstacles together by lifting teammates and even pulling them up in higher places. Separately, the jumping mechanics have also been further improved so that you can now also jump onto vehicles. This should make new strategies and more dynamic movements possible.
And otherwise? There are now two additional healing items available for purchase in the Rondo Market: the First Aid Kit and the Energy Drink. The arms dealer has been redesigned so that it has now said goodbye to the Vector and offers new weapons such as the QBZ, AKM and M249.
Last but not least, community feedback will also be responded to and the utility belt will be removed in the upcoming March update. Gunplay has also been adjusted, changing weapons such as the JS9 and shotguns to provide a more balanced gameplay experience.
