Warner Bros. has started moving its theatrical release schedule entirely, just like Disney did a few days ago. Now the portal Variety, has revealed how one of the main affected is The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson and directed by Matt Reeves, which removes June 25, 2021 from its calendar, and will now premiere on October 1, 2021.
Film production has been completely paralyzed by the Coronavirus crisis. In the case of The Batman, the tape had shot a quarter of footage, from which we could already see numerous filtered images. Added to this problem is the closing of cinemas in almost all the world, which has caused reorganization of the premieres in the short and medium term to new dates, causing a domino effect so as not to overlap numerous films in theaters.
New Release Dates for DC Movies

It should be remembered that Wonder Woman 1984 has already delayed its release and will now be released later this summer, if the health crisis allows it.
Among the other delays by Waner Bros, the one of The Many Saints of Newark, prequel to Los Soprano, which goes from September 25, 2020 to March 12, 2021. The Elvis Presly's biopic directed by Baz Luhrmann and headed by Austin Butler alongside Tom Hanks, the November 5, 2021, while King richard, a sports drama starring Will Smith as the father of tennis legends Venus and Serena Williams, is delayed a full year, from November 25, 2020 to November 19, 2021
