Castlevania Simon Belmont and Alucard will join the platform fighter Fighting Hara This October, “just in time for Halloween”.
Newly added guest roles Smash Brosque Brawlhalla is the vampire hunter and vampire Simon Belmont and Alucard respectively, and will arrive on October 19th as part of the new Brawhalla-vania event. As part of the Ubisoft Forward digital conference, guest roles were revealed, apparently with Konami.
The duo were revealed as part of a very good 2D animated trailer, interspersed with some of the duo’s gameplay. Both of their designs are very faithful to their original look, despite their head-shaking quality. Simon uses his classic axes, flails, and more to fend off enemies, and his moves really look unique compared to his Smash Bros. Ultimate counterparts.
Alucard appears to be a fairly fast character, and as a member of the undead, he clearly possesses a range of powers.
They are the latest in a surprising series of guest characters that includes all four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rya, Chun Li and more from Street Fighter, Po from Kung Fu Panda, Lara Croft from Tomb Raider Loft, Shovel Knight, etc. John Cena, whether you can see him or not.
Of course, Ubisoft announced more at its digital conference last night (September 10). Assassin’s Creed Mirage officially debuts, a back-to-basics game that will bring the series back to its roots. We hope you want more Assassin’s Creed News, as it also features three other games, such as the Japanese-set Codename Red, the slightly mysterious Codename Hexe, and a mobile game called Codename Jade, which will be A fully-fledged game set in China.
Oh, and a first look at The Division Heartland, and a new Skull and Bones trailer, so it’s not all Assassin-oriented.
