Should there be another The Last of Us, Naughty Dog seems to be well prepared. At least that is what Neil Druckmann hinted at in a podcast.
The Last of Us: Part II is out and it’s a huge success, but Naughty Dog, especially Neil Druckmann, doesn’t seem to have finished with it yet. As Druckmann confirmed, he and his co-author Halley Gross already have a storyline for a possible The Last of Us 3 in their pockets.
Without going into detail, Druckmann also confirmed that the story should revolve around the events after the second part. Whether and when we will ever see the story is still in the stars at the moment. According to Druckmann, the team is not currently working on another game in the series, but he hopes it will see the light of day at some point.
Anyway, what Naughty Dog is currently working on is open anyway. Various rumors in the last few days revolve around a PS5 remake of the first The Last of Us. A new Uncharted is also said to be in the works after Sony Bend (Days Gone) returned it to Naughty Dog. However, there are no official confirmations for either report. So just wait and see and drink tea or something else.
