The complete calendar of new Netflix releases for June 2024 is finally here! What can we expect from future additions? Subscribers will witness the walk of a shark in the Seine even before the river is “cleaned”, witness the end of a globally successful series and the return of a Japanese cult license, or be able to see the twins of Tokio Hotel live on a daily basis. These are just a few examples among dozens of programs. So, without further ado, here are all the upcoming releases.
New Netflix movies for June 2024
One of the themes of the new Netflix releases for June 2024 seems to be sharks. An animal that fascinates and scares at the same time. As summer approaches, the company with the red N will add to its catalog “47 Meters Down”, which is not the worst genre film in our memories. But what everyone is waiting for, especially shark lovers, is “Sous la seine” by the Frenchman Xavier Gens (Frontières). The theme is more topical than ever, since the story of the film tells of the incursion into the French river of a large shark that ends up getting angry and eating the people who want to neutralize it in the context of the Olympic Games. It seems totally unlikely, but it is one of the highlights.
In the new Netflix films for June 2024, actress Jessica Alba will return in a John Wick-style action film, Fight Back. “A veteran special forces member (Jessica Alba) takes over her father’s bar after his sudden death and soon comes into conflict with a violent gang plaguing her hometown.”There will also be some extensive animation with Baki Hanma vs. Kengan Ashura, One Piece Red, and the return of a great Japanese classic through the movie Ultraman Rising.

New Netflix series for June 2024
Did the first part of the third season of Bridgerton Chronicles whet your appetite? The sequel will arrive on Netflix on June 13, 2024, as promised. While the show will have a fourth season on the platform in 2025, the end of Sweet Tooth will be available very soon. The very last season 3 will air on June 6. And it’s quite surprising that it’s a big box. But Netflix is obviously ready for the end. If you like the Elite series – we don’t judge you – Hierarchy might be of interest to you, especially if you’re used to following all the K-dramas on the platform. “Jooshin High School is ruled by a handful of students who represent the elite until a mysterious new change during the year disrupts the established order.”
It’s not the X-Men, but other superheroes appear in season 1 of the Netflix series SupraCell – nothing to do with Dragon Ball. Five ordinary people will develop superpowers for no apparent reason. They must join forces so that the main character, Michael Lasaki, can save the woman he loves. In the June 2024 additions there is also the SF series Nightmares and Daydreams, which looks quite high quality. Here are the rest of the programs:
