A new Persona 5 is revealed and it looks great, but unfortunately it has one major downside. We’ll have to grit our teeth.
The Persona series has been around for many years, but it wasn’t until Persona 5 that it exploded in front of everyone’s eyes. The fifth part is a masterpiece that is difficult to attack. Remarkable writing, an exciting plot, excellent gameplay and simply incredible art direction. THE game has almost everything it has to offer and it succeeds. The Atlus game is a huge success. This made it possible to make the license available to a wide audience, with remasters of old episodes and a reboot of Persona 3 recently seeing the light of day.
A new Persona 5 that promises to be great, except that…
This doesn’t include Persona 5, which alone has almost as many spin-offs as there are games in the main license. Persona 5 Strikers, a direct sequel in muso format, Persona 5 Tactics, a tactical game-style interlude, or Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight, a rhythm game. But that’s not all ! It’s impossible to say what it’s worth at the moment, because while the game is highly anticipated by early fans, unfortunately we don’t know when the global version will be available. For the time being, the Asian market will particularly benefit, especially China and Japan. All we have is the right to watch great videos that really make us hungry. We almost forget that it is a free gacha meant for mobile devices.

And if the game is making a big splash, it’s because this new Persona 5 is already a hit almost everywhere in the East even before its release. In fact, Atlus has recorded a record number of pre-registrations, more than 10 million users in Chinese territory alone, which is unprecedented for the license. From April 12th, major Asian countries such as China, Japan and Korea can benefit from this Persona 5 Phantom X version 1.0. The Americans and Europeans, for their part, will only have eyes to cry, even if, as we suspect, the software eventually arrives in our countries when the success is there, and we will have no doubt about that.
