CD Project Red has Q4 2022 release window announced Available for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition.
The next-gen version was initially expected to be released sometime in the second quarter, before being pushed back to “further notice” in April.
The delay was announced along with the news that development was already taking place internally and the team was assessing the “scope of work to be done”. It was originally handled by Sabre Interactive.
The Witcher 3 Next-Gen Edition will be released as a full version with new items inspired by The Witcher Netflix series. While no details on this content have been provided, the DLC is said to feature outfits inspired by the clothes Henry Cavill wore on the Netflix show. This extra will be available on all platforms.
You can also expect a host of visual and technical improvements, such as ray tracing and faster load times throughout the base game, expansion packs and all the extras.
The next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released as a standalone purchase for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and will be a free update for everyone who already owns the game on PC, ps4 and Xbox One.
