news culture The Witcher on Netflix: A fan-favorite character in Season 3?
The Netflix series The Witcher has signed on for a third season that could welcome new characters, including one of the saga’s fans’ favorites.
The Witcher, a world full of characters
Anyone who has spent hours in the world of The Witcher 3 may not have appreciated all of the gameplay elements, but in addition to the charisma of its characters, there is no denying the richness and quality of its unique universe. In this respect, the role-playing game based on the books by Andrzej Sapkowski is in no way inferior to its source of inspiration. How many gamers were sensitive to the career of Geralt de Riv or that of Yennefer de Vengerberg and how many were excited to find them in the series launched by the Netflix platform at the end of 2019? While season two made its way onto our small screens last December, a previously announced third season is revealed sparsely, while new information points to the introduction of a much-loved character in the adaptation, which will air on Netflix.

Marylebone, who are you?
Currently in pre-production, this third season looks like the character of Milva, aka Maria Barring, will make her way into the television series. At least that’s what seems to come from the fourth episode of season two, suggesting that Milva would be a recurring character, appearing alongside Geralt on several occasions. The casting, aimed at recruiting the actress who could take on this role, was hidden behind the codename “Marylebone”, a character whose description is as follows: “Marylebone not only possesses a razor-sharp mind, but also a swift blade. Her age belies her experience as she has been forced to mature quickly and learn to survive in a cruel world.”
