Dragon Ball will soon be entitled to a new game that’s a bit WTF but highly anticipated. He knew how to pull off a surprise and we finally have a release window. It’s wide, but at least we’re fixed.
Now when we talk about Dragon Ball, you will surely think directly of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. What is even more normal: it is the next big game in the license. We could also mention Dragon Ball Zthe sequel to the anime that will be released soon. But when we write these lines, we are not talking about it, but about a completely different project. A game that caused surprise when it was announced and was widely mocked before it aroused anticipation: Dragon Ball: Project Multi.
An amazing game announced to everyone’s surprise
Yes, that’s what it says at the moment, and as it says, it will be a multiplayer game. This time there will be no direct battles, but a team battle, since this brand new game for PC and mobile is a MOBA. MOBAs are games in which two teams compete for control of a map. The goal is to push the opponent into their base and destroy their core. The best known representative is undoubtedly League of Legends, the undisputed king of the genre. The roster will consist of several iconic characters from the Dragon Ball series, and as you know, this is no joke. Planet destruction, teleportation galore, Kameha launching enemies into space… it’s always a great spectacle in any fight. That’s why it’s hard to imagine all these beautiful people without an arena, and yet. However, Dragon Ball Multi Project has tried the recipe with its very combat-focused MOBA, and evidently it works.
We have a release window for Dragon Ball Project Multi
The game has just completed an extremely limited beta phase and, contrary to all expectations, the initial feedback is quite encouraging. So much so that the developers made an announcement. It has been confirmed that Dragon Ball Project Multi will be released in its final version in 2025.
While the release window is huge, we simply didn’t have one before. This slightly WTF MOBA will surely go through several more testing phases before then. For now, development is definitely continuing and for us, the date is set, we just need to set an exact date for the next time. In the meantime, the developers have announced and introduced a new playable character, Vegeta Super Saiyan, whose extent of powers was revealed in a video.
