Cyberpunk 2077 will soon receive a new update that will make it absolutely awesome. The problem is that you have to break the bank to benefit from it.
After an incredible release, Cyberpunk 2077 has largely managed to rebuild its health and reputation. With the release of the Edgerunner series on Netflix, the game’s popularity had actually exploded. Today, CD Projekt’s ambitious FPS has become a staple and continues to be updated regularly. He will also be entitled to a major DLC later in the year, the latter of which will be released in June.
From now on, Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 will look better than ever
From April 11th Cyberpunk 2077 will host the Overdrive graphics mode, which boosts ray tracing to the max by using the latest technologies from Nvidia, including DLSS 3. And the least we can say is that the rendering is impressive. The light management in particular is more realistic than ever and fills the eyes. As a bonus, the DLSS 3 improves fluidity and it should be colossal once we get used to Nvidia’s measurements.
A huge patch is coming soon
Only here, to benefit from all this, you once have to sell a kidney or your car (we’re exaggerating… or not). In fact, it will be necessary to be equipped with a high-end PC to take advantage of this Overdrive mode and its improved ray tracing. In particular, Nvidia recommends using RTX 40xx graphics cards and thus the processor and everything that goes with it to support the beast. So we are talking about PCs that can cost several thousand dollars. Which is far from achievable for all budgets.
As usual, more fixes are expected and CD Projekt will report on them shortly before the release of the huge patch, although it won’t fulfill all fans’ dreams.
As a reminder, in addition to availability on PC, Cyberpunk 2077 is also available for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One.
