Marvel Rivals makes an announcement that will bring great joy to all players currently on the battlefield. A welcome double surprise!
NetEase recently launched the closed beta of Marvel Rivals, a very ambitious game that simply aims to be the perfect marriage between Overwatch and Marvel. We are therefore entitled to a hero shooter with a lot of characters from the huge Marvel stable. So we find Iron Man, Hulk, Spider-Man or even Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange. Great guys, but the game still has a lot of things in the pipeline.
Marvel Rivals announces two surprises!
While the beta is scheduled to last until August 5, Marvel Rivals has just announced, without warning, the arrival of two new playable characters, Jeff and Thor. A double surprise that is now available to all players with access to the beta. While it is not really necessary to introduce Thor, the God of Thunder, armed with his hammer Mjolnir and his lightning powers, this is not the case with Jeff, a much lesser known character.
In addition, we do not know the character, in fact it is a mix of shark and dog. Jeff is a recurring creature in certain Marvel comics, since he is the privileged comrade of Gwenpool, a relatively new heroine (2015) halfway between a Gwen Stacy who fights well and Deadpool. During these adventures, the mercenary meets Jeff, the famous little shark now available in Marvel Rivals, who obviously knows how to surprise us and who knows his file well, because this character you really had to want to release him.
Two new characters that expand an already quite generous roster, especially for a beta testing phase. From now on, we just wait for a release date to be officially announced and then everything will be fine.
Marvel Rivals is currently in closed beta available on all media and will soon be free to play.
