Boom, boom, out of nowhere – as is its custom – FromSoftware will release the latest trailer for the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring today (May 21). This is also a story trailer, so get ready for a ton of lore when you watch that trailer with us later!
Yes, after wowing us with the first trailer for Shadow of the Erdtree back in February, we’re getting a few more ahead of its June 21, 2024 release. Will this lead to speculation about the curtain? Who knows, but you’d better tune in.

As for what we’ll see in what FromSoft says is a 3-minute-long demo, I imagine Mquella and Messmer will show up a few times, some small talk about something vaguely divinity-related, and maybe even more hints that we’ll be tasked with fighting a A series of strange creatures/people that threaten to destroy us until they stop tarnishing the day may have something to do with all of this.
Maybe we’ll even get to see more of the bosses that are waiting for us, you know, like this gory-vibe guy that FromSoft casually dropped a picture of on Twitter the other day.

All we know is that Shadow of the Erdtree will be the only DLC for Elden Ring, and if you want to play Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail at launch, you’ll only have a week to complete it. So, you better pay attention.
