They are not limited to Japan. Video game companies also register trademarks in other regions. The latest example of this was revealed earlier today.
You see, Take-Two Interactive was revealed to have filed for a new trademark in Europe and the United States a few days ago. The trademark is the phrase “ball over everything,” leading fans to speculate that it could be the new FIFA 2K game, the NBA 2K game, or even the recently leaked LEGO Soccer game.
