Reuters reports that the next mainline game in the acclaimed The Witcher game series is entering pre-production this year. CD Projekt Red says their goal is to have 400 people working on the title by the middle of this year. The project is codenamed “Polaris” and will include multiple The Witcher games. Analysts say they expect the fruit of the studio to appear in 2026 or 2027. CD Projekt Red is also working on a sequel to Cyberpunk, which is in the conceptual stage.
