Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific gets three new operators and five new weapons, and Call of Duty: VanguardThe multiplayer mode of begins with two new maps a content roadmap for season 1 Activision was released on Monday.
The new season for both the free Battle Royale and for vanguard Multiplayer starts on December 8th. (For vanguard Owner; independent Warzone Pacific Players will join on December 9.) Updates preparing both games for the start of the new season will be released on Monday at 9 p.m. EST.
vanguardTwo new maps are Paradise and Radar, the latter being a remastered version of Dome from 2008 Call of Duty: The World at War. Caldera, which has been teased and hyped for most of the last month, is the new arena for the Battle Royale, joining the smaller hand-to-hand combat Rebirth Island, which was introduced a year ago. The three Warzone Pacific Operators start with Francis “Kai” Lanakila, which is available through the Season 1 Battle Pass. Players can unlock it instantly by purchasing the Battle Pass, which typically costs 1,000 COD points (around $ 10).
The Premium Battle Pass has 100 levels again and “You can earn a lot just by playing the game.” Premium buyers also get tier 0 access to a new skin for Operator Arthur Kingsley, a 10% XP bonus for the entire season and a “Battleprepped” skin for Operator Polina Petrova. The gas mask is not functional, but it looks tough.
Francis will be followed by new operator Lewis Howard (who will arrive before the end of 2021, Activision said) and Isabella (full name Isabella Rosario Dulnuan Reyes, for the record). There’s also the completely free Battle Pass system, which allows players to unlock three functional weapons (i.e. no skins), two new perks, and new gear, all for free.
