Alolan Geodude actually had its own Community Day in May 2022, so many Pokemon Go Collectors will likely have a shiny or two from this event. Alolan Graveler is a good Rock-type attacker when it comes to Arenas and Raids, although it’s outperformed by many other Rock-type Pokemon like Tyranitar and Rhyperior.
What is the Shiny Rate for Alolan Geodude in Pokémon Go?
As in the Silph Road, the shiny rate for Pokémon is about one in 500 on a normal day. As of this writing, the jury is out on Alolan Geodude’s shiny rate. While other Alolan Pokemon have an increased Shiny rate (1 in 64), there isn’t enough data on Alolan Geodude to confirm this or not.
What can I do to attract more Shiny Pokémon?
Unfortunately not much. It seems to be coincidence. Shiny Pokemon catch rates are set by developer Niantic and typically only increase during special events like Community Days or Safari Zones or in Legendary Raids. There are no consumable items that increase Shiny Pokemon rates.
