Fourteen daysThe Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass features different quests each week that you can complete for some nice XP that can be used to unlock new cosmetics. Week 8’s quests bring five new challenges for players to complete, each worth 15,000 XP. Those who complete all five quests will be rewarded with 75,000 XP that you can use to further your progress with this season’s Battle Pass. Below is a quick list of all the quests you can complete for Week 8, along with tips on how to complete them.
Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3, Week 8: Quests
- Fast and to the point. And fun, don’t forget to have fun. – Eliminate players with pistols or submachine guns. (4)
- Be quick! – Modify a vehicle within 60 seconds of landing from the bus.
- Ooooh, what goodies are in there? – Search Chest (25)
- My fist knows no mercy! – Hit different opponents with Nitro Fist in a single match (3)
- I barely have to aim! – Deal damage to enemies with shotguns (1,000)
Fast and to the point. And fun, don’t forget to have fun
To complete this quest, you must eliminate four players with a pistol or submachine gun. The beauty of this quest is that it doesn’t all have to be in the same gameso don’t worry about rushing it. If you use a pistol or submachine gun, you should use them at close range, because that is where they are most effective. When you see another player, close the gap between them, fire away, and kill them. If you’re still having trouble getting a kill, we recommend using a weapon bench and upgrading your weapon to give you that extra edge.
You better hurry up!
This quest requires you to modify a car within 60 minutes of landing from the Battle Bus, so you’ll need to be quick. We recommend landing at a gas station, as you’ll always find a car next to some mods. Below is a picture of where you can find them.
Once you touch the ground, run straight to a car and over one of the mod boxes to complete the challenge.
Oooh, what goodies are in there?
This is one of those quests that you can complete just by playing the game. To complete it, all you need to do is open 25 chests. It doesn’t have to be in one game either, so don’t worry about having to rush to get it done.
My fist knows no mercy!
To complete this quest, you’ll need to hit three different enemies with a Nitro Fist. If you’re having trouble finding a Nitro Fist, you can still get one by killing the Megalo Don boss. He patrols the map on the Battle Bus or hangs out at the Brutal Beachhead. The great thing about this quest is that you don’t just have to hit players. After killing Megalo Don, hit three of his minions with the Nitro Fist and you’ll complete the quest.
I hardly have to aim!
To complete this quest, you’ll need to deal over 1,000 damage to enemies with a shotgun. Just like “My Fist Knows No Mercy!”, the damage doesn’t have to be directed at players. However, landing at the Brutal Beachhead, Redline Rig, or even the Nitrodrome is a good way to complete this. Once you’ve landed, find a shotgun and start firing at the boss and all of his minions. If there aren’t many players around to give you trouble, you should complete this quest relatively quickly.
