In the Harry Potter books and films, mandrakes are human-like plants that scream loudly, knocking out or even killing anyone who hears the sound. However inside Hogwarts legacy, Mandrakes are a combat item that stuns and damages nearby enemies. You need Mandrakes to learn a few spells from Professor Garlick, but they can be difficult to get your hands on. How to get Mandrakes in Hogwarts Legacy
There are two ways to get Mandrakes Hogwarts legacyBuy from Dogweed and Deathcap or grow your own in the Room of Requirement.
Buy from Dogweed and Deathcap

Head to Dogweed and Deathcap, located at the northernmost point of Hogsmeade. You can buy two mandrakes for 500 gold galleons each.
Grow in the Room of Requirement

You can also grow mandrakes in any pot size in your Room of Requirement. Buy the Mandrake seeds from Dogweed and Deathcap in Hogsmeade for 800 gold galleons, then interact with a herbalism station in your Room of Requirement. Select the Mandrake to breed and wait 10 minutes to collect a Mandrake.
On your way to Dogweed and Deathcap, you may come across ward boxes that are difficult to open. You might also drop by Spintwitches Sporting Needs where you can buy some of the brooms Hogwarts legacy.
