The modder who removed the unnecessary buttshots from Mass effect 2 and 3 has now reinstalled it.
It’s a comedic twist that closed the circle of longstanding video game drama. Scottina123, whose Mod released last winter All close-up shots of Miranda’s bum have been discreetly removed from the original Mass Effect series, now offering a mod that puts all bum shots back into the picture Mass Effect Legendary Edition
The original Mass Effect trilogy was released in 2007, 2010, and 2012. Even then, people began to notice that there were more than a few scenes where the camera was locked on some characters’ bums. Perhaps the most famous case happens in Mass effect 2 when Miranda Lawson talks to Commander Shepard about saving her family. When the two realize how serious their life or death situation is, the camera focuses mainly on Miranda’s butt.
Not everyone liked the exaggerated fan service. In 2018 Scottina123 released a mod called “No more butt shots“, Which removed the baseless butt-shots from this conversation. On the mod’s original page, Scottina123 said that the camera positioning annoyed her and that “it was extremely disrespectful”. [sic] to Miranda’s character. “
Nice and good. And this year the people from BioWare said Mass Effect Legendary Edition would have remastered, re-framed sequences that would have significantly reduced the amount of loot. (You can a Comparison video here). So, what can only be described as a cheeky action, Scottina123 created a mod that adds the sequences back in Mass effect 2 and 3. Now people can play the remastered version with the original camera angles.
