Pokémon Go hosts its annual event “Sustainability Week” Event that encourages players to run around and go green 22-26 April.
This year’s event is a bit strange in that there are no special boost spawns for it. However, there are a whole host of bonuses focused on your Pokémon friends during the event period.
Friends bring gifts and souvenirs more often and stay on the map longer after feeding, walking alongside you. They also earn hearts for walking twice as fast.
In particular, Combee, Drilbur, Trubbish, Foongus, and Binacle hatched from eggs obtained during the event also have a higher chance of being shiny.
