San Diego Comic-Con 2023 might be a slightly more low-key event this year given the strikes of both the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA), but the event and associated announcements are moving forward.
Disney won’t be having its usual big showcase, so don’t expect any Marvel or Star Wars film or television announcements (Marvel Comics will still have a presence), and most other major studios won’t be hosting panels this year either. But announcements and revelations are expected from Max, Paramount, Amazon and Peacock, among others.
