The suicide squad is a pretty open film. A standalone film in the truest sense of the word, it doesn’t require any knowledge of previous DC Comics films, nor does it have cliffhangers for obvious sequels. But there is a post-credits scene, and what it relates to may not be obvious to viewers who don’t keep up with every behind-the-scenes tidbit. But don’t worry, we’re here to help.

The scene is brief: Two of Amanda Waller’s agents are seen in a hospital where they are told that someone was pulled from the rubble and survived. The survivor is none other than John Cena’s peacemaker, badly injured and passed out, but otherwise alive. The agents tell the attending doctor, rather ominously, that they will need him for a job “to save the world” and the film is cut black.
This scene is not established Suicide squad Sequel, another completely different film, but the one announced Peacemaker TV series for HBO Max, which, as this scene suggests, is at least partly based on the events of. will be held The suicide squad
Not much is known about the new series – it was written by James Gunn, who also directed most of the first season’s episodes, and “an opportunity to get into current world affairs through the lens of this superhero / villain / and greatest fool in the world to deal with. “Per the Suicide squad
