The Pokémon Company and Creatures Inc. have introduced a new game dedicated to collecting virtual trading cards. It says Pokémon Trading Card Game Bagand it’s a mobile game coming out sometime in 2024. The developers revealed the new title on Tuesday during the Pokémon Presents stream.

According to the press release, the developers want to redesign the experience of collecting Pokémon cards with an “innovative digital format.” The first look showed a slick animation on a phone screen as a person opened several packs of cards in the app. This game will also include a new feature called “Immersive Cards,” which are virtual collectibles that allow players to explore the scenes featured in certain card art pieces. To demonstrate this, the trailer showed a video of a person zooming in to look at details in a forest depicted on a Pikachu card.
