The remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 looks fantastic in new screenshots

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater There may not be a release date yet, but Konami has released some new screenshots of the upcoming remake and the game looks fantastic.

MGS3The remake of was first announced in May 2023. Since then, we’ve seen some gameplay elements, trailers, and screenshots of the impressive-looking remake of the 2004 entry in the stealth-action series.

The game was originally released on the PS2 and I think it still looks great today thanks to some really clever graphic and stylistic choices. However, there’s no denying that this remake looks more “realistic”.

On 26 August Sony and Konami have released 10 new screenshots for the upcoming remake via the PlayStation Blog. These new insights into the game come along with a number of previews from people who have had the chance to play the first 90 minutes of MGS Delta Snake Eater

. According to these previews, the game is basically the PS2 classic, but with a fresh coat of Unreal Engine styling. And that sounds pretty good to me!

In the new screenshots released by Konami on Monday, we can see all the details packed into the remake. Of course, you can argue that the PS2 original can still hold its own, I think it does, but it is impressive to see such photorealistic representations of MGS3

Places, characters and moments. I don’t think the upcoming remake will replace the original MGS3 Not at all, but as a new twist on the classic stealth action game, it sounds exciting.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is scheduled to be released sometime this year for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
