The Eternal Forest in Echoes of Wisdom, explained
There are some nice Echoes you can grab early on, but navigating the forest will be a little more difficult as the map will be obscured by green trees. For one thing, there is a strong enemy in the western part of the forest that allows you to get one Sword Moblin Lv. 3 Echo
If you follow the horseshoe prints on the ground you will also come across a lynx, a tough fight early on. The Lynel Echo The use costs six energy. So if you can’t use it, you might still want to save this fight for later.
While it does become easier to navigate the forest as the map becomes actually usable and is no longer just a small, unidentifiable green blob, you must progress through the story to achieve this.
Now if you are on this guide page you will find a walkthrough for the story puzzle portion of Echoes of wisdomDo not worry. We go through the Eternal Forest and the Ball Puzzle below.
Walkthrough and Orb Puzzle Solution for the Eternal Forest
After quickly exploring the Temples of the Three Goddesses, you should head to the Eternal Forest north of Hyrule Castle. From the warp waypoint on the path, you should head towards the yellow quest marker and then northwest of it. Your map will be a smog of green trees, so that’s really the only advice we can give you.
Once you reach General Wright and the guards, they will talk a little. Once the cutscene ends, interact with the glowing panel in front of you. A huge tablet shoots out of the ground along with a stone ball on the crack. Find out Ancient Orb Echo and summon one to the pillar directly in front of you. In response, the tablet lights up.
There are five more pillars in the forest that you need to summon orbs to. Luckily, the tablet gives you all the information you need: the circles correlate with the position of the pillars in the forest.
From the first pillar you place the ball on, go southwest until you see this Deku Baba. Take it out to reveal the middle left pillar. Summon an Ancient Orb Echo on it.
Now go right, going around the trees if necessary until you see this lowered area with a Caromadillo rolling around. The middle right column is on the right here.
From this pillar, go southeast and follow the edge of the trees until you see the pillar at the bottom right surrounded by trees.
From this pillar, go straight to the left and you will see the bottom middle pillar directly in front of you.
Then go left again and go down another lowered area where there is a Sword Moblin and a Rope Enemy. Jump onto the ledge north of the lowered area to get the final pillar.
Once all six pillars are holding spheres, interact with the giant panel to cut down the trees. Follow the path forward to play several cutscenes.
After the cutscenes, you can follow Null into the Stilled Ancient Ruins.
