Ubisoft shared the trailer from the Containment Event to celebrate a new game mode coming to Rainbow Six Siege. This will be called Nest Destruction and will be inspired by a title that has not yet been released, Rainbow Six Extraction and which in turn is a derivative of R6 Siege.
So Ubisoft takes advantage of this feedback from its projects to celebrate this event that will begin tomorrow, August 3 and will run until the 24th of the same month. The gameplay will consist of competing against a team of proteans (parasites) who can take the form of game agents to confuse the other team.
Temporary mode
Team A must enter the Consulate map and destroy the parasites’ nest or, alternatively, kill them all. For its part, team B only has the mission of preventing the others from fulfilling their objective. Team A will be equipped with the common weapons of the game and their abilities.
Whereas Team B can change its form by an agent and attack with melee punches with extra strength. Posed like this, it looks like a lot of fun and it will remind you of an Among Us with more shots. However, we will have to see how it all works in action.
Finally, keep in mind that if you win 10 games between August 17 and 24, you will receive a set of skins for the agent and his weapon. Rainbow Six Siege will release the Containment Event tomorrow, August 3, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC.
