Revealed earlier this year consumer electronics show from Las Vegas, the PlayStation VR 2 could appear much later. The system, consisting of a headset (shown last week) and two controllers, is rumored to be released. And although it was made official in early January, its release would be around early 2023, and more specifically, in the first quarter of next year.
In their opinion, the PSVR 2 can’t arrive until 2023, and with good reason: the PS5. The success of this second version of the virtual reality system depends on the fleet of consoles installed in the homes. But today, the latest generation consoles are still hard to find for consumers. Aside from the commercial success of this new gear, the release of PSVR 2 could frustrate even more gamers who haven’t gotten their hands on the PS5 in the coming months.
What do we know about PSVR 2?
