After League of Legends, Riot Games was able to establish Valorant long ago – and now the numerous players of the online action title are getting a fresh mode at their fingertips. This is called Premier and is now initially planned as a test version.
With Premier, Riot Games is giving the online action game Valorant a new competitive mode – initially as a test version. The worldwide beta of this new game mode appears in Episode 6 Act III.
In Premier, players with four team members can compete in a tournament mode with fixed game dates. It is in fixed games against other teams.
Premier mode teams can be registered in the Valorant client; there you can also join other groups or search for team members. All teams are then placed into a fixed division in which they compete against other gamers in a series of weekly matches and tournaments. With enough wins, individual teams will be given the opportunity to compete for first place as one of the top contenders within their division.
Premier will be tested in alpha version in Brazil since 2022. With the feature, the developers want to make it easier for gamers around the world to get started with pro play and give them new options for this. The new mode will also be the entry point into the VCT Challenger Leagues, replacing the qualifier events: Who in Premier
