The hunt for the rarest loot in diablo 4 is finally over. In the last few days there have been two confirmed drops of the Molten Heart of Selig – a powerful amulet and the last of the six extremely rare unique items in the game.
The existence of these six elusive one-offs was recently confirmed by Main class designer Adam Jackson, who posted screenshots of each item’s stats on Twitter after players began to doubt their existence. Below are two swords, two helmets, a ring and the amulet. Jackson said that the items can be dropped by enemies over level 85, they always drop with an item power of 820, and can be found anywhere a normal unique item can be found. “They’re really rare!” he said.
That was natural; At this point, only the Harlequin Quest helmet had been found. (At least as far as anyone outside of Blizzard knows – diablo 4 sold very well, and it’s entirely possible that some of the millions of players found the items without understanding their rarity or posting about them on social media. But Jackson’s tweet was followed by a string of confirmed drops. On June 25th, Polish player YesYou teamed up with streamer NadinWins to present this first confirmed finding of the helmet Andariel’s Visage
According to two Reddit posts, Selig’s melted heart has finally been found and the search is complete diablo 4is the rarest and most powerful loot. On June 30th A screenshot of a Chinese player’s find was shared, which reportedly took place in the Blind Burrows dungeon; And Reddit user Chabbaworkie shared a German-language screenshot of the amulet her character was equipped with and claimed to have found it two days earlier.
The Molten Heart of Blessed is an all-purpose amulet that offers large increases in resistance, stats, damage, max resources, and resource generation, with a slightly odd twist: equipping it consumes resources (meaning the mana, the energy, or whatever your character). Your class uses them to cast skills instead of 1% of the life you would have taken as damage, essentially using your resource pool as a shield. This is offset by a massive 30% increase in max resources, but there’s still some debate as to whether this tradeoff does more harm than good.
In the comments on both posts, players were quick to point out the low stats on the drops, labeling the item as “mediocre” and “crap”. True or not, these players have the melted heart of Selig? No they don’t.
Having found all of the loot in the game, it’s now confirmed what’s next for Frontier diablo 4are intrepid players? We’ll find out on Thursday, July 6 when Blizzard introduces the first season on a stream at 2:00 p.m. EDT.
