The studio Absurd Ventures, founded by Dan Houser, is developing a third-person open-world game.
Dan Houser, co-founder of Rockstar Games, founded Absurd Ventures last year, a new company.
AMERICAN CAPER and A BETTER PARADISE were announced as brand new multimedia universes to tell stories as radio plays or graphic novels.
The studio is also working on a game that, according to a job advertisement, was described as a third-person open-world game. Well, that sounds like Grand Theft Auto, right?
In the description for the Lead Gameplay Designer it says: “Become the primary responsible for the vision and practical contribution to character, control and camera design in an open-world action-adventure game. The person in this role will lead a team of multi-disciplinary specialists to deliver world-class combat and third-person action across multiple game modes.”
The applicant for the position to be filled should also have experience in combat design for an action game as well as melee and shooting mechanics.
