Cosmonaut studios Will throw Eternal sons, a first person puzzle game for one player focused on the manipulation of time, choices and consequences.
The small Liverpool-based studio brings us a story that is both original and complex, but which will in no way leave us indifferent.
The story
Eternal sons is located in the north of England in 2015. Six people died in a house fire. But all should have survived. The first experiences of time travel, in the distant future, created corruption through the flow of time
Corruption was detected in the timeline in the week leading up to the deaths of these people. Our job will be to manipulate the decisions made by roommates, so that everyone can survive.
From the start, we will move forward on the timeline until seven days before the fire. PLet’s see and edit the important events of the whole week as many times as we want and in the order we want. Of course, the weather is not uniform and changing roommates’ decisions will cause the timeline to readjust at the same time.
The ramifications of time will open and close, causing some events to disappear and new ones to appear, allowing new possibilities for exploration.. Saving a partner in a certain way can cause the death of another that we previously saved.
In March, this original proposal will land for our Xbox one. At AreaXbox we are very interested in this game so original that it dares to make us relive the sensations that the film brought us Frequency (Gregory Hoblit, 2000). What do you think of the game? Do you want to try it? As the game says, at the end of the day, it’s all about choices and consequences …
