Titan Forge Games has announced that the fourth Alpha Weekend Event for SMITE 2 begins today. Ares and Susano will be added to the game, as well as the new game mode “Arena”. This is the last Alpha weekend event before SMITE 2 launches on 27.August
Arena Mode is a popular, fast-paced brawler mode in SMITE that offers players the most intense and chaotic 5v5 battles. The mode returns in SMITE 2 with a number of improvements but the same spirit of nonstop combat and fun.
Ares, the Greek god of war, excels at empowering his allies and controlling the battlefield. His chains can completely change the course of a fight by slowing and stunning enemies, who must now flee or take heavy damage.
Susano, the storm god from Japanese mythology, is one of the fastest deities in the game, capable of dealing significant damage in seconds. In SMITE, Ares and Susano have different roles and playstyles. However, in SMITE 2, players can experiment with builds and develop new exciting strategies for both deities.
Additionally, three new cross-gen skins, Mr. Cuddly Ymir, Goth Gourmet Morrigan, and Cosmic Enforcer Thanatos, will be available in SMITE 2 for those who own these skins in SMITE and have linked their SMITE 2 account.
