It’s not Elden Ring or Dark Souls, but it sweats FromSoftware Productions from A to Z. The Lords of the Fallen finally showed its promising gameplay at The Game Awards 2022.
Now that the development of The Lords of the Fallen, formerly Lords of the Fallen 2, is really on track, the CI Games team can communicate more regularly. And the studio didn’t hesitate during the Game Awards 2022 with a trailer that never fails to make you want to die.
The gameplay for The Lords of the Fallen
Beyond the Elden Ring’s crowning glory, the Souls-like genre shone during the Game Awards 2022 ceremony thanks The Lords of the Fallen. A game completely off the radar due to reboots and team changes, but in 2023 (really) exclusive to PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC will appear. A next-gen title running on Unreal Engine 5.
A vast world of dark fantasy awaits you in the brand new action RPG The Lords of the Fallen. Embark on an epic quest in the shoes of one of the mythical Black Crusaders to try to overthrow Adyr, the demon god.
What about those first edited game excerpts? It smacks of FromSoftware and is obviously not a criticism. The art direction looks great, both in the environments and in the character designs of some of the bosses. Boss who logically won’t fail to make you suffer. Either we’re a sub-like or we’re not!
Like Elden Ring, The Lords of the Fallen can be played solo or in co-op, but here it’s limited to two players. We can of course customize his character, choosing from 9 classes, hundreds of weapons and magic.
