It’s hard to believe, but it’s true: just over a year after the announcement, the Spider-Man update for Marvel’s Avengers finally has a fixed release date.
Spider-Man was announced as an additional playable character last year before the game’s actual release. A lot of time has passed since then and other DLC superheroes were faster in the game, such as Kate Bishop, Hawkeye or Black Panther. But now the time has finally come, on November 30th the DLC will be released exclusively for the owners of the PlayStation version.
Spider-Man is introduced to the game with its own story as part of a new hero event called “Spider-Man: With Great Power”. In it, Spider-Man teams up with Ms. Marvel and Black Widow to thwart AIM’s sinister plans. In addition, the first raid comes into play, in which you face off against Klaw, along with a number of updates to some game systems. This includes the new shipments, packages consisting of cosmetic items and resources that you can earn in the game and purchase for 500 units.
Further changes, also on November 30th. are a specification of the maximum level from 150 to 175 as well as a possibility to recycle equipment in order to upgrade other parts. In addition, you can now unlock weekly rewards for all heroes instead of just one.
