Warner Bros. Games and DC just announced the new release date for Gotham Knights. The quartet of Batgirl, Robin, Red Hood and Nightwing are ready to unleash Tatane punches.
Unfortunately, Gotham Knights got swept up in the wave of postponements, missing out on its 2021 arrival. The horizon has apparently cleared for the developers and that’s it, a new release date has fallen. You don’t have to get carried away either, that’s not the case now.
The law enforcement officers are outside
It’s all said in the tweet below, Gotham Knights will be available October 25, 2022 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC. Just days after Forspoken. On the other hand, neither trailers nor unreleased images accompany the announcement.
Batman is dead in this new franchise based on the Dark Knight universe.
Gotham Knights lets players take on the role of DC’s new vigilante who must rise up to protect Gotham City after the death of Batman. The game will be playable solo or in two-player online co-op.
But other superheroes in tights are also jostling at the gate, as Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin take over. The four will have the opportunity to dish out stuff-pif-pif in street brawls or larger confrontations against emblematic bosses. We will cross paths with both Mr. Freeze and the Court of Owls. Organization is at the heart of the game from Warner Bros. Play Montreal (Batman Arkham: Origins).
Gotham Knights: A Family History
All of the characters mentioned are playable alone in their corner or in twos in co-op, and there won’t be a need to farm like hell to level up each of them. In fact, the storyline is shared and the four heroes are constantly evolving in the background. Getting from one to the other requires a passageway to the Belfry, the Batfamily’s headquarters.
