On today’s show on the occasion of the PlayStation Awards 2020 Japan, the developers won the partner award for Persona 5 Royal. In this context, the development team “P Studio” assured that there will be news about Persona soon. The team’s producer and director, Kazuhisa Wada, spoke of various plans that would definitely please the players.
Fans of the series will be familiar with the information about new projects in the course of the 25th birthday. At the end of last year, Wada announced on behalf of his team that they wanted to celebrate the anniversary in style – but nothing has happened to this day. For persona lovers, one can only hope that this time there will be a concrete announcement as soon as possible.
With Persona 5 R, Atlus officially confirmed the existence of a new series offshoot shortly before the turn of the year.
