Session has been in Early Access and Game Preview on PC and Xbox for quite some time, but now there’s finally light at the end of the tunnel as far as the final version of the game is concerned.
The developers at crea-ture Studios, together with NACON, have now announced the release date for the finished full version of Session: Skate Sim. This is accompanied by the confirmation of the title for other platforms, because in addition to the previous platforms PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, the game, which is reminiscent of the nostalgic skateboarding days of the 90s, is also to be released for PS4 and PS5.
How long do you have to wait now? Session: Skate Sim is scheduled to be available on September 22, 2022 with full functionality for all platforms mentioned above. The new content that was delivered with the February update for the Early Access version will be expanded again accordingly in September. crea-ture wants to respond in particular to the wishes and feedback of the community and works through them to ensure that the expected quality is achieved at the start.
Session aims to tie in with the Tony Hawk’s glory days of yore and invites everyone to immerse themselves in real skateboarding life in the 90’s, when every piece of pavement and every stairway was a great location for your favorite stunt. They want to ensure realistic physics in order to bring the feeling of skateboarding to life.
Thanks to the new “True Stance Stick” game mechanic, in the future each foot can be controlled independently with the two sticks, opening up new playful possibilities.
