Unlike previous games in the Pokemon mainline series, scarlet and violet have made the fan-favorite Eevee quite difficult to catch. Only spawning in a few tiny areas and with very low spawn rates, trying to advance the Eeveelutions octet has never been so difficult. But this weekend, the games first Tera Raid Battle Event should make catching the blighter a lot easier.
At any other time, if you want an Eevee, you’ll need to go to Area 3 of the Western Province, Area 2 of the Southern Province, or the path on the way to the Pokémon League. But this weekend after Thanksgiving, it was announced that the Tera Raid Battle Event will include an Eevee Spotlight.
From today, Friday 25th at 11:00 am to Monday 28th at 10:59 am, Eevee will be much more likely to appear in Tera Raids – those triggered by approaching the large glowing crystals approaching, shooting huge beams of light into the sky. This means that not only will Eevee be easier to find, but you’ll have the chance to collect a few of them with different Tera types – meaning they change from normal type to one of 19 others.

There is a tiny caveat, but not a major one. In order for the Raid Battle Event to trigger in your game, your Switch must be connected to the internet long enough to download the latest “Poké Portal News,” which should download automatically if you’re already online. And no, this has nothing to do with the paid Online Switch subscription, so don’t worry about that. Everything is free.
With loads of Eevee under your belt, you’ll probably want to think about evolving her into her eight different forms. (All my hopes for a ninth Paldean Eevee seem to have been dashed.) Here are some handy tips for getting all eight Eevee:
Beacon: Give your Eevee a flint.
Glazion: Give your Eevee an Ice Stone.
Jolteon: Give your Eevee a Thunderstone.
Leafon: Give your Eevee a Leaf Stone.
Vaporeon: Give your Eevee a water stone.
Spy: You need your Eevee at a high friendship level, make sure it knows no fairy moves, and then let it evolve throughout the day.
Umbreon: High friendship again, let it learn no fairy moves and then let it develop at night.
Sylveon: Once again a high friendship level, but this time be safe does Know a fairy train and evolve it day or night.
Combined with tera types from the tera battles this will get unbelievable complicated! Much luck!
