Breakout PC Action MMORPG Lost Ark was first released in South Korea in 2019. It was finally released in the US and Europe earlier this month. It has quickly become one of the most popular games in Steam history. with over 1.3 million active players last weekend. It is currently the number one most played game on the service, beating out the major classics such as Counterstrike: GO and dota 2 And with so many players, you better believe there are a ton of Steam reviews out there.

Many of the reviews, both positive and negative, express how much they enjoy the fight, often calling it satisfying and enjoyable. This is something I mentioned in my first impressions of the game. While it has a boring storyline, as other Steam reviewers have also pointed out, the fight really is the star of the show. The use of “hitstops” and large groups of enemies really helps push the action above other ARPGs. in the Lost Ark You feel super powerful basically right from the start, which is a nice change from most MMOs.
Of course, many reviews also refer to it Diablo. It’s almost impossible to talk about Lost Ark without doing this. In fact, could it be illegal? Everyone else is talking about it Diablo when talking about it Lost Ark so I did it too – better safe than sorry. Interestingly, a significant number of reviews indicate that Blizzard should consider how DiabloIV compares with Lost Ark. I’m not so sure, but there are probably some lessons to be learned from any game that resonates with so many people so quickly. (Although I think Blizzard has…other things to worry about now.)

I don’t know but based on a lot of these reviews I wouldn’t bet against it.
