After various rumors and leaks emerged over the past few weeks, Genshin Impact Update 2.0 is finally ready for release. While the excitement around many games released last year has waned over time, Genshin Impact shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
The amount of content that miHoYo has released for the game is commendable. Every six weeks, a new update is released, and it’s just not a filler update. Instead, there are tons of additions in the form of characters, weapons, items, missions, regions, and much more.
We are ready to receive another update for Genshin Impact, and this time, it is one of the most important in the history of the game. Here’s everything you need to know about the Genshin Impact 2.0 update.
Genshin Impact update 2.0 will be released on July 21, 2021 at 6am (UTC + 8). Here are the launch times according to the different time zones.
- 11 pm BST (20)
- 6 pm ET
- 3:00 p.m. PST
Maintenance will begin on July 21, 2021 at 6 am (UTC + 8) and will last for five hours. Like the previous times, miHoYo is giving free primogems to make up for the maintenance period. Upkeep will last five hours and players get 60 Cousins every hour. However, if the maintenance ends earlier, they will still get 300 Prime Gems. Are here update 2.0 patch notes
We also have confirmed the 4-star characters that will be included in Ayaka’s banner, which are: Yanfei, Ningguang and Chongyun as the previous leaks had hinted at us.
