Very good news, through an official statement, we learn that Krafton has taken the plunge and acquired all the talents within Tango Gameworks. In addition, it has also acquired the IP Hi-Fi RUSH, so we can count on a new installment of the game, of course, outside of Microsoft.
It seems that the RUSH Hi-Fi IP is either not part of Microsoft or they made a deal to keep it in Tango before they shut down, but now the owner will be Krafton and it seems that it will continue to operate the brand in the near future.
Hi-Fi RUSH 2 could arrive without any problem
Krafton welcomes the talented members of Tango Gameworks to its team, marking an exciting moment in the company’s global expansion and its first significant investment in the Japanese video game market. This strategic move will include the rights to Tango Gameworks’ acclaimed intellectual property, Hi-Fi RUSH.
As part of this strategic agreement, KRAFTON intends to work with Xbox and ZeniMax to ensure a smooth transition and maintain continuity at Tango Gameworks, allowing the talented team to continue developing the Hi-Fi RUSH IP and explore future projects.
